Six US Players to be in Maccabi Games in Berlin

Six US badminton players are heading to the 14th annual European Maccabi Games in Berlin, Germany this summer and are trying to raise the expense of $5,800 for their trip.
The Maccabi Games is a global Jewish athletic event that provides Jewish athletes the world over the opportunity to share their heritage and customs in competitive athletic settings. The USA team is supported by Maccabi USA, which is recognized by the US Olympic Committee.
The athletes who are representing the US are:

Daniel Berdichevsky (Open Event)
Alan Shekhtman (Open Event)
Jessica Cohn (Junior Event)
Isaac Ehrlich (Junior Event)
Nicole Frevold (Junior Event)
Samuel Schwartz (Junior Event)

The opening ceremony will be held at the venues which were the sites of the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. The games are scheduled to be July 27–Aug 5 and coach Sasha Boyarin from Maugus Club in Wellesley Massachusetts is leading the team. Be sure to visit BadmintonMonthly for more update!
